Studied Musikpädagogik at the Staatl. Hochschule für Musik Westfalen-Lippe, Institut Münster.

Exams in AME (Allgemeine Musikerziehung) 1980 and IP (Instrumentalpädagogik) 1982. Private studies 1980-1982 (at the same time) in Essen.

Andreas is working since as music teacher at the Musikschule Beckum-Warendorf for violin, viola, orchestra and ancient music.

 

Since 1982 Andreas intensively deals with performing old music (baroque violin, baroque viola and viola d’amore), he attended master classes at the Akademie für Alte Musik Bremen (Thomas Albert), later 1984-1987 he joined the ensembles Fiori Musicali, Bremen, with concerts, recordings and touring to festivals like in USA and Finland. He regularily played in different ensembles such as La Stravaganza and Hermann Max das kleine Konzert. Founder of the ensemble La Finetta formMusic of the 17.C. In 1992 Andreas founded the Barockorchester Münster of which he since is the concert master.

Andreas is teacher at the Festival Retour. In 2014 he founded the Jugend Barock Akademie NRW, a baroqu orchestra for the youth.

2008 CD „Bleibt ihr Engel, bleibt bei mir...” Kantaten und Arien von J.S. Bach. Markus Brutscher Tenor, Hajo Wienroth Traversflöte, Mark Baigent Oboe.
